Societal anchoring
The aim of a transition project is to help scale up practices that are fundamentally innovative and more sustainable.
In practice, a transition project does not automatically lead to the wider adoption of new practices. Many such projects, even very promising ones, are not followed up. There is limited systematic information about the underlying reasons for this or what can be done to rectify that, but the body of insights is growing and the existing insights are summarised here in a series of key questions and answers.
