Cognition model
Use for
Exploring (and ultimately creating) the scope for innovative problem definitions and solutions.
Principles
The cognition model is based on various social and cognitive conditions that can play a role in the choice of action.
What do you do?
You identify the perceptions of actors that could cause them to act in a particular way. The aspects explored are:
- knowledge: of the technical systems
- willingness: the personal goals, aspirations and interests
- (individual) ability: personal skills and possibilities
- (collective) ability: support from the system around them
- commitment
- action: taking personal responsibility
- daring: willingness to take risks
- may and must: wishes and influence of others.
Prerequisites
There are no special prerequisites for using the Cognition model.
